Terms and licence agreement

Last updated 7 November 2026

1. Who we are

Stippla is made and sold by [YOUR FULL NAME], trading as Stippla (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].

These terms cover your use of the Stippla plugin for AutoCAD and BricsCAD, the free Stippla Viewer, and the licence you buy. By installing or using Stippla you agree to them.

2. Buying Stippla

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, invoices, VAT and sales tax are handled by Paddle under its own buyer terms, which apply to your purchase.

After payment you receive a licence key by email. The key is made for the machine code you give at checkout.

3. Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Stippla on one computer, the one whose machine code your key was made for, for your own work and your clients’ projects, under the plan you bought:

  • Monthly and yearly plans are subscriptions. Stippla runs while the subscription is paid. They renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep using Stippla until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Perpetual licence: you may use Stippla without time limit. It includes updates released in the 12 months after purchase. Versions released later need an update renewal; you can keep using any version released within your update period.

Stippla is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights we don’t expressly grant here.

4. Moving to another computer

A key works on one computer. If you replace or rebuild your computer, email us the new machine code and we will send a replacement key. Please uninstall Stippla from the old computer.

5. Free trial

The trial is the full product for 14 days, starting the first time you import a point cloud or use Stippla on one. It is for evaluation. Please don’t try to reset or extend it.

6. What you may not do

  • Share, resell, rent or lend your licence key, or use one key on more computers than it allows.
  • Get around the licence check or trial, or help others do so.
  • Decompile, reverse engineer or modify Stippla, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction.
  • Remove copyright or licence notices.

7. Stippla Viewer

Stippla Viewer is free. You may use it and give unchanged copies to others, for example clients and contractors, at no charge. Sections 6, 9, 10 and 11 apply to it as well.

8. Updates

Stippla can check online for new versions; you can switch the automatic check off. Updates may add, change or remove features. We aim to support the AutoCAD and BricsCAD versions listed on the download page, and may end support for older versions over time.

9. Third-party components

Stippla includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt that comes with it.

10. Your drawings and our responsibility

Stippla is a drafting aid. Linework, levels and dimensions it produces come from the scan data and automated fitting, and can be wrong where the scan is incomplete, noisy or misread. You are responsible for checking anything you issue, especially before it is used for construction, manufacturing or legal purposes.

Stippla is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be error-free or suit a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, this doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or the cost of correcting drawings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Stippla in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Ending the licence

Your licence ends if you break these terms. When it ends, stop using Stippla. Your drawings remain yours and open without Stippla.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you bought; for subscriptions, changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you about important changes by email.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
